Technology & Enterprise Elaborations

The 'down -to-earth' language of the Elaborations will assist teachers gain a better understanding of "what is different" from one level to the next as we move from early childhood to late adolescence. The Elaborations will also assist teachers understand what they need to teach, model and provide opportunities for the student to practice collaboratively and independently. What the student needs to demonstrate at least twice, independently over a period of time.

Technology & Enterprise: The Pointers - Layer 3

Layer 3 Pointers of the Technology Process and the three conceptual outcomes (Materials, Information and Systems) provide a further 'unpacking' of the outcomes. These provide the types of knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that a teacher needs to teach and students need to demonstrate at a particular stage of development as they progress from Early Childhood to Late Adolescence (Level 1 to 8). The Pointers can be used by a teacher to construct a Rubric. A rubric can make explicit to a student what they need to demonstrate at each level or stage of development.
